The Gully Boys stage their Annual Reunion Party and Tribute and Fundraiser for Paul Davidson at Casa Del Sol in Ascutney on this Sunday afternoon starting a 1pm. Wayward Soul will be on hand warming up for the band and there will be drawings for prizes from some of Paul’s favorite places including Hanover Strings, 7 Barrels, Hanover Strings, Than Wheelers, Tupelo Music Hall, 5 Olde Nugget, and Casa del Sol. For those of you who don’t know, Paul has been diagnosed with cancer of the liver and he will only be with us for a short while. This may the last time to see the original Gully Boy line-up perform.

Bill Temple gave me a new release that pays tribute to Paul Davidson – entitled “He’s Alright – No Matter What The Weather Is” – the song is written and performed by Ed Goodwin, Pete Meijer, John Sigafoos, Bill Temple and Paul Davidson. “He’s Alright” is destined to join other great songs in the Gully Boy Post-Diluvian Dream archive.
