Cammy is 11 years old today. We took her for a walk at Dewey's Pond, probably her favorite place on earth. It has everything a Lab could wish for -- water and room to run. Sometimes she finds dead fish in the shallows, always an occasion for joy. Here she is in action:

Happy Birthday Cammy! You are the youngest 77-year-old of my acquaintance.
Oh, and please tell your much-younger owners how much we appreciate their time and attention: Dave for giving Sam a wonderful guitar lesson today, and Helen for working her fingers to nubs on Sam's prom dress. She's a very lucky girl!
